Radiesse®
Radiesse
Designed to lift, contour and rejuvenate aging skin, RADIESSE® is an injectable filler that can be used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe creases in the face and even on the backs of the hands, restoring lost volume in thinning areas.*
At Pacifica Medical Spa, our selection of dermal fillers is comprised of only the highest quality products, including RADIESSE. Our Aesthetic Nurses can help you decide on the best fillers for meeting your needs.
How Does Radiesse Work?
RADIESSE is a wrinkle filler that adds volume below the skin while also stimulating collagen production, helping your results last. Over time, the product is harmlessly absorbed into your body, leaving behind only your own natural collagen and tissue.
We also offer RADIESSE (+), a version of the filler containing lidocaine for additional patient comfort.

Before Your Radiesse Treatment
Prior to getting RADIESSE injections, you’ll have a private consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses. During this time, you can discuss your goals for fillers and learn more about what you can expect from RADIESSE. While RADIESSE is most commonly applied to creases in the nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth, the product can also be used on marionette lines, which run from the sides of the mouth toward the chin, as well as smile lines, pre-jowl folds and chin wrinkles. RADIESSE can also be applied to the backs of the hands.
Your Radiesse Procedure
When you come in for your RADIESSE injections, your Aesthetic Nurse will determine the specific areas to be injected. The injections themselves only take a few minutes to complete. Usually, anesthetic is not used because the injections should only feel like small pinpricks. We can also use RADIESSE (+) if you are concerned about discomfort.
Recovery & Results
After completing this quick, “walk-in, walk-out” procedure, you can return to your normal routine. While RADIESSE doesn’t require any downtime, you might develop some minor redness, bruising or swelling, so bring along your makeup bag if you’re headed straight to an important meeting or engagement. These side effects should fade within a week or so of your injections.
Your results should gradually develop over the coming days and week. Your skin should appear smoother and less wrinkled, with added volume plumping the contours in the treated area.
