Daniel G. Kolder, M.D.
Dr. Daniel G. Kolder is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. As a highly trained plastic surgeon serving Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, his specialties include tummy tucks; liposuction; breast augmentation, lifts and reduction; facelifts; upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), as well as a variety of non-surgical aesthetic procedures. He is best known for his warm, easy manner, compassionate care, and beautiful, natural results.

Problem Solver
Dr. Kolder says that what attracted him to his profession was that every day presents new challenges. My work requires many skill sets. I love that variability and finding a way to address every patient’s concerns, he says. Often I present three or four options to my patients, so they can be part of the decision-making process. Most importantly, at the end of the day, what matters most is achieving the best, beautiful results.

I Tell the Truth
Dr. Kolder tells each patient what he can and cannot achieve for them. I can’t make a 50-year-old woman look 20 again. But I can make her the best version of who she is now fresher, more youthful, more confident and excited about life. Beautiful, natural results are in the details and require a great deal of subtlety to erase the effects of time. That’s what I’m after.

Like Family
that’s the promise we make to our patients.
A great patient experience starts with the first phone call, the first visit and every interaction to follow at Pacifica Center for Plastic Surgery. Having his own, in-house accredited surgery center is ideal for Dr. Kolder. It means he has much more control over the whole process and that his patients do not have to experience a cold hospital setting. My staff and I focus on great patient care making people feel comfortable. It makes us smile when they tell us they don’t want to leave. Dr. Kolder is sincere and has a very reassuring nature. He says that although his work is serious, he keeps the atmosphere in the office light and fun.

We use tried and true
Dr. Kolder attends national conferences to learn about the latest innovations. We aren’t slow to adapt to new technology but are not the first to buy into a new machine because of splashy marketing. When I or someone else tries a new piece of equipment or technique, we know we are getting the most truthful review. When I hear great things, I’m quick to investigate.

I focus on a patient’s happiness.
My patients have my cell phone so that if they have a concern, I’m there for them. But being accessible is more than a phone number. Dr. Kolder naturally connects with people and puts them at ease quickly. Often patients are embarrassed to ask certain questions, but Dr. Kolder says there are no silly questions. There’s so much misinformation out there. I am here to separate fact from fiction and guide a patient to a safe, effective, beautiful solution.

balanced life.
A good surgeon is one who gives his or her all every day. But being a dad to his son and daughter is just as important to him. Weekends are spent on the soccer field and just enjoying life with his family.
